About the room:
Open Arms Turtle room is a place where our babies receive loving, hands-on nurturing care throughout the day. Developmental milestones are encouraged through play and one-on-one teacher involvement. Lots of love and hugs are given to each child daily and individual schedules are a priority.
Lead Teacher Miss Robin
My name is Robin Oliver. I have worked in the Early Childhood setting for over 20 years. I started at Open Arms in 2008. I worked in the Alligator Room for 6 years and the Penguin Room for 1 year and now I am in with the Koalas. I went to school at Rasmussen and received my teaching certificate in Early Childhood Development. I have 3 grown daughters, all married so I got my boys…. I have a 9 year old granddaughter, and a 9 month old granddaughter; I also have a grandson on the way. I had the wonderful privilege to serve this country for 10 years in the Air Force. I enjoy working at Open Arms and having the opportunity to teach your children, bring the love of Jesus to their lives, and watching them grow. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
