Turtles Classroom | 6 weeks - 12 months

Lead Teacher Miss Rose Ann

Open Arms Parents say…The first day of saying goodbye to our little ones as we head off to work is challenging, but as parents we can rest assure that at Open Arms, they are in loving arms. In the Turtle room, you will see teachers signing songs, reading books and Bible stories, having fun with “special memory” art projects, cuddling, laughing, engaging infants in conversation, using sign language, and playing with our babies. Using Creative Curriculum’s goals and objectives as the framework for discovery and play, primary caregivers partner with families to provide an individual care plan that supports each child’s unique needs and schedules.

Penguin Classroom | 12 months - 16 months

Lead Teacher Miss Kayla

Open Arms Teachers say… In the Penguin room we help your family make the adjustment from infancy to toddler-hood with lots of love and guidance. We use creative curriculum as the framework to create learning activities that develop the whole child and encourage learning through play and exploration. We teach age appropriate life skills, basic sign language, colors, ABC’s, animals, fundamental vocabulary and social skills. During the day we sing lots of songs, dance, read stories and just have a great time together learning through play. A highlight of our week is attending chapel where we learn about the love of Jesus.
